("IOU" or "the Company") (CNSX: IOU) recorded revenue for the quarter ended March 31, 2012 of $185,711 versus $5,746 for the quarter ended March 31, 2011 as well as deferred revenues of $126,778 compared to $91,423 as at December 31 2011. The Company closed its first quarter of fiscal 2012 with a net loss of $424,500, or $0.02 per share, compared with a net loss of $1,518,291 or $0.14 per share during the same period in 2011.
At the end of March 31 2012, total assets stood at $3,357,842 compared with $3,346,513 on December 31, 2011, and consisted mainly of cash on hand of $341,189, commercial loans receivable of $2,732,199, prepaid and deposits of $47,082, and sales taxes receivable of $37,207. Total liabilities, in the amount of $845,665 consisted primarily of a note payable of $291,364, account and trade payables of $411,218 and deferred revenues of $126,778. Shareholders' equity showed a surplus of $2,512,177, compared with a surplus of $2,579,053 on December 31 2011.
